Digital Marketing Assistant & Sales Support

Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and organized Digital Marketing Assistant & Sales Support professional to help grow our brand presence and support catering and event sales initiatives. In this part-time remote role, you will manage social media accounts, execute email/SMS campaigns, design promotional materials, and handle customer reviews. Additionally, you will support business development through lead generation, outreach, and relationship-building with prospective clients. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for branding, basic design skills, and a confident communication style for client outreach. This position requires 20 hours per week, working Mondays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST and Wednesdays through Fridays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM EST.

Schedule

Mon 10 am - 6 pm EST, Wed- Fri 10 am - 2 pm EST (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain social media accounts across Meta platforms, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content to support brand awareness and customer engagement
  • Respond to online reviews and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Execute email and SMS marketing campaigns to drive customer retention and repeat business
  • Write compelling captions, promotional content, and brand storytelling that reflects the business's identity
  • Design marketing materials, including event flyers, promotional graphics, and menu updates
  • Support catering and event rental sales efforts through outreach, follow-up emails, and phone calls
  • Assist with lead generation, appointment setting, and relationship-building with prospective clients
  • Maintain brand consistency across all customer-facing digital channels and marketing materials
  • Support special promotions, events, and other marketing initiatives as needed

Requirements

  • Experience with social media management and digital marketing (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
  • Strong written communication and copywriting skills
  • Basic graphic design experience using Canva or similar tools
  • Comfortable communicating with customers and prospects via email and phone
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
