Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm, with occasional flexibility to assist with urgent maintenance matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process maintenance requests from tenants via telephone, email and property management software.
- Assess reported issues and determine appropriate courses of action.
- Liaise with landlords to obtain instructions and approval for works where required.
- Arrange and coordinate contractor appointments, ensuring access is organised and appointments are confirmed.
- Obtain quotations for repair and maintenance works.
- Monitor ongoing maintenance jobs and ensure works are completed within agreed timescales.
- Update property management systems with accurate records, notes and invoices.
- Ensure all maintenance issues are followed through to satisfactory completion.
- Handle emergency maintenance situations and arrange urgent contractor attendance when required.
- Liaise with contractors regarding job progress, invoices and compliance documentation.
- Assist with insurance claims and contractor reports where necessary.
- Monitor compliance-related maintenance issues and assist with arranging remedial works.
- Provide excellent customer service to landlords and tenants, resolving queries professionally and efficiently.
- Support the wider Property Management team with administrative duties as required.
