Architectural Data Administrator

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support the accurate entry of housing measurements and energy load data into Beacon.

This role involves transferring data collected by field teams from various sources, including intake forms, Excel files, and PDF exports. While the position is primarily focused on data entry, candidates must be comfortable working with architectural drawings, building measurements, and related documentation. Experience with software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp is strongly preferred.

Schedule:

  • Mondays to Fridays, flexible schedule based on the client’s business hours (US Eastern Time, 20 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter housing measurement and energy load data into Beacon.
  • Review and transfer information from intake forms, Excel files, PDF exports, and other source documents.
  • Verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Maintain organized records and ensure data is entered according to established procedures.
  • Identify and flag missing, incomplete, or inconsistent information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data quality and timely completion of tasks.
  • Meet accuracy and productivity standards while managing multiple assignments.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience reviewing, interpreting, or extracting information from floor plans, architectural drawings, building measurements, technical plans, or construction-related documents.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to follow processes and work independently.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Experience working with architectural drawings, building measurements, floor plans, or architectural data.
  • Familiarity with residential building measurements and the ability to interpret basic architectural information.
  • Experience using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar architectural/design software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with databases, CRM systems, or data management platforms.
  • Background in architecture, construction, engineering, drafting, or a related field.
  • Experience reviewing or extracting information from technical drawings and plans.
