Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Residential Construction Estimator & Operations Coordinator (Australian Market) to support our growing residential construction business. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for custom homes, renovations, and builder rescue projects while also managing client communications, project documentation, and supplier coordination. This position is ideal for someone with Australian residential construction estimating experience who enjoys balancing technical estimating responsibilities with administrative and operational support. 

Schedule: Part-Time (20 hours/week) | Flexible during client business hours, AEST

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential construction projects including custom builds, renovations, and builder rescue jobs
• Manage client communications including emails, follow-ups, and scheduling on behalf of the business owner
• Maintain and update project records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability information
• Support the back-end operations of the business to streamline workflows and reduce administrative burden

Requirements:

• Experience in construction estimating within the Australian residential market
• Proficiency in Databuild or willingness to learn the platform quickly
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations
• Ability to multitask across estimating and administrative responsibilities
