Job Overview:

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support the growth of their property data platform. In this role, you will research, collect, verify, and organize tax sale property information from government and municipal sources across the United States. Your work will play a critical role in building and maintaining a high-quality property database that powers their platform.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, Flexible hours [PST] (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Research and collect tax sale property data from county, city, and state government websites across the U.S.
  • Accurately enter, organize, and maintain property information within Google Sheets and future web-based systems.
  • Monitor municipal tax sale and auction schedules to ensure all relevant data is captured and updated on time.
  • Verify the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of collected information before submission.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control and data integrity.
  • Support the development and expansion of a comprehensive property database used throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with team members through asynchronous communication channels to ensure project milestones are met.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
  • Experience navigating government, county, and municipal websites to locate and extract information.
  • Proficiency with Google Sheets and spreadsheet-based data management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly in email-based environments.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote setting.
  • Previous experience in data entry, research, lead generation, or administrative support is a plus.

Scope & Growth Opportunity:

  • Initial focus will be on tax sale property research and data entry.
  • Opportunity to expand responsibilities into mortgage lead generation and additional real estate data projects.
  • Some overlap with Pacific Time business hours will be required during onboarding and training.
  • The role will evolve as the company transitions from Google Sheets to a dedicated web-based platform.
