Outbound Sales Development Representative

Job Overview

Our client is looking for an Outbound Sales Development Representative to conduct cold calls, generate interest in their micro-lesson training platform, and drive free trial sign-ups.  This position is ideal for a proactive communicator who enjoys building rapport over the phone, managing pipeline metrics, and working directly with business leadership to refine outreach strategies and drive organizational growth.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM EST (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective houses of worship from a provided lead list to generate interest in the micro-lesson training platform
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of micro-lesson safety and security training versus traditional training methods
  • Guide prospects to sign up for the 14-day free trial on the company website
  • Schedule follow-up meetings with prospects who do not convert during the initial call or after the trial period
  • Track and report on call activity, sign-ups, and conversion metrics on a daily basis
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and outcomes
  • Focus on driving free trial sign-ups and booking meetings for prospects requiring further engagement
  • Collaborate directly with the business owner for training, feedback, and escalation of prospect questions
  • Communicate the cost-benefit and quality advantages of the micro-lesson platform to diverse religious organizations

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outbound cold calling or telemarketing, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Proficient English communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, persuasive manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet targets
  • High level of attention to detail in tracking calls and managing lead lists
  • Ability to work through an existing prospect list of approximately 500 leads with additional lists to follow
