Schedule: Monday – Friday, Flexible within client’s business hours (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Sydney) with 1 hr unpaid lunch (35 hours per week)

Core Responsibilities

1. Solutions Architecture (The Blueprint Phase)

• Bridge the gap between New Business (Simon) and Delivery.
• Join late-stage discovery calls (if required) to map out complex client requirements.
• Design the technical architecture, data flow, and integration strategy before the HubSpot Specialists start building.
• Ensure the solution scoped is actually deliverable within budget and timeframe.

2. Technical Leadership & Escalation (The Safety Net)

• Act as the ultimate point of technical escalation for the 4 HubSpot Specialists.
• Step in to troubleshoot and resolve complex API, Zapier, or custom integration roadblocks.
• Provide passive mentorship to upskill the current team (especially helping your specialist with intermediate integration skills level up).

3. Project Oversight & Efficiency

• Work closely with the 2 Project Managers as a technical adviser.
• Review project milestones to ensure the build remains technically sound, efficient, and aligned with best practices.
• Identify bottlenecks in the delivery process and implement better standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the technical team.

4. Strategic Productisation & AI (The Growth Engine)

• Lead the technical design of “UpLaunch Industry Solutions.”
• Build out standardised, repeatable HubSpot architectures for specific verticals (e.g. Construction, Finance, Healthcare) that Simon can take to market.
• Turn custom, one-off builds into scalable, out-of-the-box products.
• Champion the integration of HubSpot Breeze (including Breeze Copilot, Breeze Agents, and Breeze Intelligence) across client portals, workflows, and industry solutions to keep UpLaunch’s offerings efficient and competitive.

5. Talent Sourcing & Vetting

• Help identify the technical gaps as UpLaunch scales.
• Source, interview, and technically vet new talent (specifically high-level integration developers or API specialists) to add to the team.

Other

• From time to time, particularly in the early phase, you may be required to take on hands-on HubSpot project delivery to absorb overflow. This is expected to reduce over time as the role moves toward architecture and technical leadership.
• Other duties as reasonably required in line with the role and the needs of the business.
