We are a growing retail and operations-focused business seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support inventory management and administrative processes. This role plays an important part in maintaining accurate inventory records, processing vendor documentation, and ensuring operational data remains organized and up to date.

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and highly organized Data Entry Specialist to assist with inventory reconciliation and vendor receipt processing within our Lightspeed POS system. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, experience working with inventory-related data, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Schedule:

• 20 hours per week
• Thursday & Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Eastern Time
• Saturday, Sunday & Monday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Eastern Time

Responsibilities

• Process and input vendor delivery receipts into the Lightspeed POS system to ensure inventory quantities remain accurate and up to date
• Verify pricing and product quantities on vendor receipts against POS records and investigate discrepancies
• Monitor inventory levels and identify potential stock issues or irregularities
• Maintain organized digital records of scanned vendor receipts for reference and audit purposes
• Support general administrative tasks related to daily operations
• Provide daily inventory reconciliation and receipt processing updates
• Escalate inventory discrepancies and pricing issues to management for resolution

Requirements

• Previous experience in data entry, inventory management, or POS system administration
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong written communication skills
• Comfortable working with inventory records, receipts, and administrative documentation
• Experience with Lightspeed POS or similar inventory management systems is preferred
