Business Development Representative

Overview

We are seeking a proactive Business Development & Appointment Setting Specialist to support our sales team by generating qualified appointments and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline. In this role, you will conduct outbound outreach to both warm and cold prospects, follow up on conference-generated leads, and schedule product demonstrations for the Director of Global Sales. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, staying organized, and contributing directly to business growth.

Schedule

  • 4 hours a day Monday-Friday EST

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound outreach to warm and cold leads via phone and email to generate qualified appointments
  • Manage and maintain lead records in HubSpot, ensuring all contact information and activity logs are accurate and up to date
  • Follow up with conference-generated leads in a timely manner to prevent opportunities from going cold
  • Schedule product demo appointments for the director of global sales on a consistent weekly basis
  • Track and report on outreach activity and appointment-setting progress to support pipeline visibility
  • Support the launch of a new product by proactively reaching out to prospective clients to book demos

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, lead generation, or appointment setting
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Proficiency in using HubSpot or a similar CRM for lead management and outreach tracking
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • High level of attention to detail when updating records and managing follow-up schedules
  • Comfortable with both cold outreach and warm lead follow-up in a professional services environment
