Our client is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for patients, managing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, empathetic, and capable of working independently in a healthcare environment.
Client Overview
Our client is a growing dietitian company expanding across Arizona and serving clients throughout the United States. They provide concierge-style healthcare services focused on nutrition and dietitian consultations, delivering personalized care and support to patients.
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Arizona Time (MST), with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)
*Rest days: Wednesday and Sunday
*Additional Hours: May require additional weekend hours based on business needs with proper notice and coordination in advance
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound patient inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and care.
- Schedule appointments for patients using practice management platforms.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with patients by understanding and addressing their needs.
- Communicate clearly and accurately, ensuring all patient-facing communications are professional and error-free.
- Manage daily tasks independently while maintaining high customer service standards.
- Coordinate with the lead dietitian and management team regarding patient scheduling and concerns.
- Maintain accurate patient records and appointment information within company systems.
- Ensure a smooth patient experience from initial inquiry through appointment booking.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service, customer support, or patient-facing roles.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, error-free work.
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills with empathy and a customer-focused approach.
- Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information professionally.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in concierge care or private healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with healthcare practice management software such as Jane Nutrition or SimplePractice.
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or a medical office environment.
- Experience supporting patients or clients in a remote setting.
