Job Overview
We are seeking a highly detailed Social Media Assistant to manage and execute the content workflow across five established Facebook brand pages for a growing game and entertainment company. In this remote role, you will process long-form videos into engaging short-form clips, write compelling captions, and schedule posts to maximize organic reach and monetization. You will also use automated tools and templates to engage with community members and maintain audience loyalty. This part-time independent contractor position offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate directly with the founders and eventually grow into a full management role.

Responsibilities
- Process long-form video content through Opus AI to generate short-form clips optimized for social media engagement
- Write compelling captions, descriptions, and hashtags for each piece of content to maximize reach and algorithmic performance
- Schedule and publish approved content across multiple Facebook pages using Post Planner
- Engage with top fans and community members using templated responses to maintain audience loyalty
- Organize completed content into designated review folders and manage the approval-to-posting workflow
- Monitor post performance metrics on a weekly or bi-weekly basis and report on content output and engagement trends
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with social media content scheduling and publishing tools
- Strong understanding of Facebook's algorithm, monetization features, and best practices for organic reach
- Ability to leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude for caption and hashtag generation while maintaining brand voice
- High level of attention to detail when reviewing and preparing content for publication
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone across different brand identities
- Self-motivated and able to work independently within an established process
