Social Media Content Specialist
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Social Media Content Specialist to create high-quality content for Meta and LinkedIn platforms. This role requires a strong eye for design, excellent content creation skills, and the ability to produce both static and video content using Canva. The ideal candidate is creative, proactive, and experienced in developing content that aligns with brand objectives and audience engagement goals.

Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 20 hours per week (Flexible during Adelaide business hours)
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging graphics and social media content for Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and LinkedIn
- Design branded marketing materials using Canva
- Edit and produce short-form social media videos using Canva
- Develop content concepts, layouts, and creative assets that align with brand guidelines
- Schedule and manage content calendars as required
- Write compelling captions and social media copy
- Ensure all content is optimized for each platform's best practices
- Monitor content performance and recommend improvements based on engagement metrics
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create content that supports marketing campaigns and business objectives
- Stay current with social media trends, design trends, and platform updates
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in social media content creation and graphic design
- Proven experience managing content for Meta and LinkedIn platforms
- Advanced proficiency in Canva, including graphic design and video editing
- Strong portfolio showcasing social media graphics and video content
- Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail
- Ability to create engaging content tailored to different audiences and platforms
- Creative mindset with a strong understanding of branding and digital marketing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
