Job Overview

We are seeking a resilient, self-motivated Social Media Marketing Specialist to grow the online presence of an independent, touring jazz musician. In this remote role, you will take full ownership of the social media lifecycle, transforming raw creative assets into platform-optimized content and managing end-to-end strategy. A key focus will be launching and optimizing paid advertising campaigns to maximize audience growth within a limited budget. The ideal candidate can analyze performance metrics independently and make data-driven adjustments to ensure a strong return on investment.

 

Job Highlights

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 10am - 2pm EST (20 hours per week)

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

 

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the artist's brand and goals
• Transform raw creative assets into polished, platform-optimized social media content
• Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns to maximize reach within a limited budget
• Monitor performance analytics and continuously adjust strategy based on data-driven insights
• Maintain a consistent posting schedule and ensure brand consistency across all social media platforms
• Provide regular performance reports with actionable recommendations

 

Requirements

• Proven experience in end-to-end social media management including content creation and paid campaigns (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
• Strong understanding of social media analytics and the ability to translate metrics into strategic pivots
• Experience managing ad spend efficiently, particularly on tight budgets
• Excellent written communication skills and a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with the music or entertainment industry is a plus
