To support these efforts, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented E-commerce & Sales Operations Coordinator (Shopify & CRM) to help manage our online store, contribute to lead generation activities, and build strong customer relationships through effective outreach and CRM management.
In this role, you will support both our e-commerce and business development functions by maintaining and optimizing our Shopify store, executing targeted email outreach campaigns, identifying and nurturing prospective clients, and managing customer and sales pipeline information within the CRM.
This opportunity is ideal for a highly organized professional who enjoys working across e-commerce, sales support, and digital marketing. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote work environment.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM New Zealand Time | Part-Time (20 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
E-Commerce Management
- Manage and maintain the Shopify website, ensuring product listings are accurate, organized, and up to date
- Add new products, update existing product information, and optimize product presentation
- Monitor website content and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience
- Maintain consistency across product descriptions, images, pricing, and categories
- Support ongoing improvements to the online store's functionality and presentation
Sales & Lead Generation
- Develop and execute email outreach campaigns targeting building companies and prospective clients
- Research and identify new business opportunities within the construction and building industry
- Generate, qualify, and nurture leads through targeted outreach initiatives
- Support the sales process by maintaining consistent follow-up with prospects
- Assist in growing the company's client base through proactive lead generation activities
CRM & Customer Management
- Track and manage customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities within Streak CRM
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales pipeline data
- Monitor lead progression and ensure timely follow-up actions are completed
- Generate reports and updates on sales activity and pipeline performance
Administrative & Marketing Support
- Assist with general administrative tasks that support sales and marketing operations
- Monitor email campaign performance and recommend improvements to increase engagement and response rates
- Maintain brand consistency across all customer communications and marketing initiatives
- Support additional business development and operational tasks as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing Shopify stores, including product listing management and basic website updates
- Experience using CRM platforms, preferably Streak CRM or similar customer management systems
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft professional sales and marketing emails
- Experience in lead generation, sales support, or email marketing
- High level of attention to detail when managing product information and customer data
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a remote work environment
Preferred:
- Experience supporting businesses within the construction, building, or trade industries
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms and campaign analytics
- Understanding of e-commerce best practices and online customer journeys
- Previous experience in business development or sales administration roles
