Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Google Ads & SEO Specialist to lead SEO and Google Ads initiatives across multiple client accounts and internal marketing campaigns. This role is ideal for a highly analytical digital marketing professional who thrives in a performance-focused environment and enjoys translating data into actionable business outcomes. Beyond technical expertise, the successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing regular project updates, presenting campaign performance, explaining complex marketing concepts in a clear and professional manner, and making strategic recommendations that drive measurable growth. Our client is looking for a candidate who possesses a strong combination of technical search marketing expertise, commercial acumen, and exceptional communication skills, enabling them to confidently engage with clients, manage expectations, and demonstrate the value of marketing initiatives through data-driven insights and reporting.  

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM AEST (20 work hours per week)

Note: Flexible scheduling is available within these hours. There is potential to transition to a full-time role as the business grows.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies, including On-Page, Off-Page, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).
  • Conduct detailed SEO audits using SEMrush and transform findings into actionable optimization roadmaps, keyword plans, and competitor analyses.
  • Implement technical SEO improvements including metadata, schema markup, internal linking, site architecture enhancements, and crawlability improvements within WordPress and Elementor.
  • Plan, launch, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns across multiple service-based industries to improve lead quality, conversion rates, and return on investment.
  • Conduct continuous A/B testing for ad creatives, landing pages, bidding strategies, and campaign structures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, conducting regular meetings to present marketing reports, performance analytics, and clear, business-focused insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align search strategies, maximize website user experience (UX), and ensure conversion optimization best practices.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional SEO experience managing multiple client projects, organic campaigns, and technical optimization roadmaps, 4+ years of professional SEO experience managing multiple client projects and technical optimization roadmaps, specifically within a digital marketing agency environment. 
  • Expert-level understanding of On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, GEO, and AEO methodologies alongside strong hands-on SEMrush expertise.
  • Proven experience managing, launching, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns across multiple service-based sectors.
  • Practical, hands-on experience working directly within WordPress and Elementor environments.
  • Professional verbal and written English communication skills tailored for direct, consultative client-facing management and presentation.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex technical data points into actionable, commercially valuable recommendations.
  • Highly organized and data-driven mindset with the project management capability to run multiple accounts independently in a fast-paced environment.
