Job Overview

Our client is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Oil & Gas Mechanical 3D Drafter (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) to translate engineering drawings to international standards and create detailed manufacturing blueprints. In this role, you will develop complex piping isometrics, cross-section layouts, and general arrangement drawings specifically for oil refinery analyzer shelters and industrial components. This position requires strong remote collaboration with production teams and Middle Eastern vendors to ensure technical specifications match rigorous industrial quality standards.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM GST (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering drawings to international standards.
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings for analyzer shelters.
• Develop piping isometrics and cross-section layouts.
• Produce general arrangement drawings with precise dimensions.
• Prepare technical files for CNC machine cutting and bending.
• Coordinate with the production team on P&IDs and flow diagrams.
• Update and review technical documents throughout the project cycle.
• Develop 3D isometric piping models and equipment layouts.
• Draft detailed drawings for shelter ventilation, doors, and lighting.
• Standardize technical specifications for Middle Eastern vendors.
• Review and resolve design comments and project resolutions.

Requirements

• Expertise in SolidWorks or AutoCAD software.
• Background in mechanical engineering or technical drafting.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on oil refinery analyzer shelters and components.
• Ability to interpret technological processes and instrument diagrams.
• Proficiency in technical English for international standards.
• Previous experience creating manufacturing protocols for CNC machines.
• Strong attention to detail for high-quality industrial standards.
