Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Xactimate Roofing Estimator to support their roofing and restoration operations by preparing accurate estimates and managing insurance claim documentation. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of roofing scopes, insurance claims, and Xactimate software who can work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

As their business continues to grow, they are expanding their remote support team to help streamline operations and support their insurance claims and estimating processes.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, flexible schedule during business hours CST (20 work hours per week) 

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed roofing and restoration estimates using Xactimate
• Review project documentation, photos, and scope details to ensure estimate accuracy and completeness
• Manage and process insurance claims internally to support project workflows
• Collaborate with the team lead to prioritize estimating requests and meet turnaround deadlines
• Maintain organized records of estimates, claim files, and supporting documentation
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, or scope gaps and communicate findings proactively
• Follow company SOPs and established estimating procedures
• Support the overall claims process through accurate documentation and reporting

Requirements

• Proven experience using Xactimate in a roofing, restoration, or construction environment
• Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and insurance claim processes
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when preparing estimates
• Ability to interpret project documentation, photos, and scope requirements
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to follow structured processes and complete onboarding independently
• Reliable communication skills and ability to work remotely with minimal supervision
• Experience working with insurance carriers, adjusters, or restoration companies is highly preferred
