Sales Customer Service Representative (ServiceTitan)

Overview

As a Sales and Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will serve as the crucial first point of contact for homeowners interested in securing their homes with residential standby generators. This is a high-impact, sales-driven customer service role. Your primary mission is to convert incoming inquiries and warm leads into qualified, high-converting, in-home sales consultations for our Sales Engineers, keeping our pipeline active and organized.

Schedule

  • 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (Marlboro, NJ)

Responsibilities

  • Inbound Lead Capture: Promptly field inbound calls, emails, and digital inquiries from homeowners inquiring about residential generator installations.
  • Lead Qualification: Ask targeted questions to assess the customer’s needs, qualify their readiness, and determine the scope of their generator interest.
  • Appointment Setting: Confidently overcome basic objections to book and secure high-value, in-home sales consultations.
  • Sales Dispatch Coordination: Coordinate calendars and assign the appropriate Sales Engineer to consultations, ensuring geographic efficiency.
  • Data Integrity (ServiceTitan): Meticulously log all customer interactions, notes, and technical requirements in ServiceTitan to ensure Sales Engineers arrive prepared.
  • Proactive Pipeline Follow-up: Consistently follow up on open, unbooked leads to re-engage prospective clients and maximize lead-to-booking conversion rates.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Partner with the internal marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and optimize incoming campaign outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or dispatch coordination—preferably within the home services industry (electrical, HVAC, plumbing).
  • CRM Proficiency: Highly comfortable working with modern dispatching and CRM platforms. ServiceTitan experience is a massive advantage.
  • Sales Drive: A naturally proactive "closer" mindset; comfortable turning a basic question into a booked appointment.
  • Detail Orientation: Exceptional accuracy in record-keeping, ensuring no client details fall through the cracks.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills; highly empathetic, professional, and clear on the phone.
