Senior Video Editor (AI-Enhanced Performance Marketing)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Video Editor to create high-converting short-form video ads for Facebook and TikTok campaigns. This role combines creative storytelling, AI-generated content production, and direct-response marketing principles to produce engaging ads that drive measurable business results.

The ideal candidate has strong experience editing e-commerce and direct-response advertising content, understands consumer psychology, and can create authentic UGC-style creatives that blend naturally into social media feeds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transform creative briefs and scripts into compelling short-form video ads (40 seconds to 3 minutes)
  • Create realistic AI-generated UGC-style content while maintaining an authentic and native social media feel
  • Apply professional editing techniques including captioning, motion graphics, audio mixing, and visual enhancements
  • Develop content tailored to different stages of the marketing funnel (TOF, MOF, BOF)
  • Produce scroll-stopping hooks and engagement-driven creatives optimized for conversion
  • Ensure all content feels organic and non-commercial rather than traditional advertising
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Strategist to align content with customer avatars, offers, and brand messaging
  • Support rapid content production cycles and creative testing initiatives

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of professional video editing experience
  • Strong experience editing Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or other paid social advertising creatives
  • Experience working with AI video generation tools and AI-assisted editing workflows
  • Understanding of direct-response marketing, customer awareness levels, and conversion-focused content
  • Strong storytelling, pacing, and creative decision-making skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially with captions, hooks, and visual engagement
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently

Portfolio Requirement (Mandatory)

Applicants must provide a portfolio showcasing:

  • Facebook and TikTok ad creatives
  • UGC-style content
  • AI-generated or AI-assisted video projects
  • E-commerce or direct-response marketing campaigns

Applications without relevant portfolio samples will not be considered.

  • Initial engagement: 20 hours per week
