We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Billing and Customer Service Specialist with marketing support capabilities. In this key role, you will be responsible for answering phone calls and emails, delivering exceptional customer service, assisting with light marketing tasks, and researching prospective clients within the dynamic field of utility sub-metering.

Schedule

Full-Time: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST, with 1-hour unpaid break

Responsibilities
Address customer inquiries and concerns related to sub-metering utility billing, providing knowledgeable and courteous assistance
Manage customer accounts, process payments, and reconcile billing discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy
Communicate with property managers and residents to educate them on sub-metering processes, resolve issues, and promote transparent utility usage
Perform marketing tasks including phone calls, email outreach, and researching prospective clients
Support cross-functional teams in operational and marketing efforts as needed

Data Entry when needed



Requirements
Previous experience in billing and customer service, preferably within the sub-metering or utility industry
Previous experience in sales or marketing
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to explain billing calculations to residents
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to assist customers professionally
Familiarity with sub-metering software and utility billing systems (preferred, training provided if needed)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Bilingual candidates preferred (Spanish)
