Job Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Representative (Insurance/Finance) to drive growth by conducting high-volume outbound cold calls to potential clients. Working directly with a successful advisor, you will use a consultative approach to introduce financial planning services, qualify leads, and schedule consultations. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week remote role that prioritizes identifying genuine interest over aggressive sales tactics. Your goal is to be the professional first point of contact, helping families and individuals begin their journey toward financial security.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound cold calling to prospects at target organizations
  • Use proven scripts to introduce services and gauge interest in financial planning
  • Qualify leads and assess prospect needs for life insurance, disability, and investment services
  • Handle initial objections and questions with a consultative, non-aggressive approach
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate meeting confirmations via WhatsApp
  • Maintain accurate call logs and prospect information
  • Follow up with prospects as needed to secure commitments
  • Work toward 1-2% conversion targets through consistent daily activity

 

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and professional phone presence (non-negotiable)
  • Cold calling experience in selling insurance or at least financial accounts
  • Previous sales and appointment setting experience required
  • Natural, consultative approach – not pushy or overly aggressive
  • Ability to handle rejection while maintaining positive attitude
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment
  • English-speaking proficiency required
  • Bonus if you have background in insurance or financial services
  • It helps if you’re comfortable with high call volumes and numbers-driven work
