Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly motivated Junior Legal Research & Administrative Assistant. This remote role is designed for a sharp recent graduate or an individual with a foundational legal background who wants to gain hands-on experience in U.S. litigation workflows.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Eastern Time with a 1-hour unpaid break. 40 hours per week
Operational Split: This position allocates 80% focus to substantive legal research and 20% to administrative and operational support. This role is part of a dedicated offshore initiative and operates
independently from our existing Arizona office support team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Legal Research & Case Analysis (80%)
Conduct deep-dive legal research utilizing databases like Lexis to support active and historical U.S. litigation cases.
Analyze complex case studies, summarize past rulings, and extract key legal precedents and insights.
Assist in drafting research memos, case summaries, and organizing legal brief components for review.
Continuously learn from past cases to build a strong foundational understanding of specific U.S. litigation strategies.
2. Administrative & Coordination Support (20%)
Manage executive email correspondence, ensuring urgent matters are flagged, organized, and addressed.
Coordinate and book travel reservations, accommodations, and detailed itineraries.
Assist with team coordination, scheduling meetings across time zones, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Maintain highly organized digital client files and documentation using the Microsoft Office suite.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

Recent graduate with an educational background in Law, Political Science, Legal Studies, or a highly analytical field.

Prior experience working as a remote paralegal, administrative assistant, or researcher directly for U.S. lawyers/law firms.(Note: A practicing U.S. law license is not required; a strong aptitude for research is the priority.)
Fluent in written and spoken English with a clear, professional accent.-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with Lexis is preferred, but comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate.
