Overview
We are seeking a Full Stack / Mobile Developer to help build, maintain, and improve web and mobile applications involving real-time user interaction, video/audio functionality, backend services, and cloud-based infrastructure. This role requires someone who can work across the full development stack, from implementing user interfaces to designing and extending APIs, managing databases, supporting mobile applications, and helping deploy reliable production systems.
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Central Time (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with 1 hour unpaid lunch break)
Responsibilities
The developer will help:
- Build and maintain frontend web application features.
- Develop and extend backend APIs and services.
- Support mobile application development for iOS and Android.
- Work with relational databases and data models.
- Help maintain and deploy applications to cloud infrastructure.
- Test, debug, document, and release software.
- Collaborate with the team to translate product needs into reliable technical solutions.
- Contribute to architectural decisions as the platform evolves.
Requirements The ideal candidate should have:
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Must be available to work during US Central Timezones
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience developing full-stack web applications.
- Strong frontend development skills, preferably with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
- Backend development experience, preferably with Node.js.
- Experience designing, maintaining, and extending APIs.
- Experience working with relational database systems, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience developing iOS and/or Android applications, preferably using Swift and/or Kotlin.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and deployment workflows, preferably including AWS S3, RDS, and ECS.
- Comfort using modern development tools and workflows, including Docker, Git, automated testing, and CI/CD.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Strong attention to detail when testing, debugging, and releasing software.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
- Availability to overlap with the team between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Central Time, USA, Monday through Friday.
