Job Description
As a Canadian Bookkeeper (QuickBooks Online & NetSuite Support) , you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial processes of an exciting, growth-stage company in the beverage industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a well-established Canadian manufacturer while supporting its continued growth and expansion. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and coordinating with external partners to ensure smooth financial operations.

Responsibilities
- Manage financial data using QuickBooks Online, with an opportunity to support the transition to NetSuite ERP.
- Process vendor invoices and customer invoices promptly to ensure efficient cash flow management.
- Coordinate with the company’s external accounting firm for GST/HST filings, payroll compliance, year-end processes, and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, supporting management with reliable financial information.
- Assist with the transition from QuickBooks to NetSuite, contributing to the enhancement of the company’s financial systems and processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, reconciliations, and analyses to assist with business planning and growth initiatives.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably supporting Canadian businesses within the manufacturing, food and beverage, or consumer goods sectors.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online; experience with NetSuite is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of Canadian bookkeeping practices, including GST/HST, payroll remittances, and basic compliance requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with external accountants, vendors, and internal team members.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
- Reliable internet connection and proficiency with remote collaboration tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Interest in the beverage industry and enthusiasm for supporting a growing Canadian business.
- Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as the company continues to expand.
