We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled bookkeeper looking to expand their accounting responsibilities and grow their career within a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate daily bookkeeping records and financial transactions
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Transition and support shift from cash basis to accrual basis accounting methodologies
  • Prepare financial reports and statements for management review
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with accounting team on month-end and year-end closing processes

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in bookkeeping practices and principles
  • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
  • Experience with both cash and accrual accounting methods
  • Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA certification or progress toward accounting credentials
  • Experience in a technology-focused environment
