Medical Intake Nurse

About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and professional Medical Intake Nurses to join our growing telehealth platform. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, creating a welcoming and efficient experience as they begin their healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to the telehealth platform with professionalism and empathy
• Verify patient identity and collect necessary identification information
• Confirm and update patient demographic information including address and contact details
• Review patient intake forms and flag any discrepancies or missing information
• Prepare patients for their upcoming provider consultation
• Facilitate seamless handoff of patient information to healthcare providers
• Answer preliminary patient questions and address concerns
• Maintain accurate and secure patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a remote/virtual environment
• Proficiency with digital platforms and electronic health records
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Patient-focused mindset with commitment to excellent customer service
