Multi-Entity Staff Accountant

About Us

We are a leading provider in the healthcare management and facility operations sector. Our mission is to ensure that every facility under our umbrella operates with financial integrity and operational excellence, allowing our frontline teams to focus on delivering high-quality care.

We pride ourselves on a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement. As we continue to expand our portfolio of corporate, facility, and property entities, we are looking for a dedicated finance professional who wants to grow with a mission-driven organization.

The Role

As a Staff Accountant, you aren't just "balancing books"—you are the financial architect ensuring the stability of our entire network. You will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting across multiple entities.

This role is a critical hub within our finance department, requiring seamless collaboration with AR, AP, Payroll, and senior leadership. If you have a passion for GAAP, a "detective’s eye" for reconciliations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment, we want to hear from you.

Schedule

  • Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
  • Days: Monday – Friday
  • Break: 1-hour break included

Key Responsibilities

Balance Sheet Reconciliations

  • Ownership: Perform monthly reconciliations for cash, intercompany accounts, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and payroll liabilities.
  • Investigation: Resolve reconciling items with speed and accuracy, ensuring all documentation meets audit standards.
  • Reporting: Maintain rigorous supporting schedules for management review.

General Ledger & Monthly Close

  • Precision Posting: Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, depreciation, and tax/insurance allocations.
  • The Close: Drive the monthly close process for multiple operating and property entities within strict timelines.
  • Analysis: Perform variance analyses and prepare payroll trend trackers to give the Controller a clear view of financial performance.

Budgets, Audits & Special Projects

  • Forecasting: Assist in annual budgeting and mid-year updates.
  • Audit Support: Serve as a key point of contact for year-end audits and cost report preparations.
  • Optimization: Maintain and enhance Excel workbooks and accounting templates to automate workflows and ensure data consistency.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Professional Background: 1–3 years of accounting experience. Healthcare or multi-entity accounting experience is highly preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: A strong working knowledge of GAAP and general ledger maintenance.
  • Excel Mastery: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must (you should be comfortable with complex formulas and data validation).
  • Attention to Detail: You have an innate ability to spot discrepancies that others might miss.
  • Adaptability: You can manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
