Join a growing healthcare operations company focused on supporting medical-legal billing, arbitration, and healthcare administrative workflows across the United States. We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Healthcare Operations Support Specialist to assist with healthcare case intake, eligibility screening, document organization, and workflow coordination. This role focuses on back-office healthcare operations, requiring strong analytical skills, process accuracy, and the ability to manage sensitive documentation within a HIPAA-conscious environment.

Schedule

  • Full-Time (35 hours per week) Aligned with Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours

Responsibilities

  • Manage intake and organization of U.S. healthcare and medical-legal case documentation
  • Perform eligibility screening using structured multi-step workflows and internal processes
  • Extract and verify key information from medical and legal documents accurately
  • Ensure all case files are complete and ready for internal review
  • Update and maintain case trackers using Excel, SharePoint, and internal systems
  • Monitor deadlines and coordinate workflow progress for arbitration-related services
  • Maintain organized digital records and documentation workflows
  • Support operational coordination through Microsoft Teams and internal communication channels
  • Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive healthcare information
  • Support HIPAA-conscious documentation and workflow practices
  • Identify missing information or inconsistencies for follow-up
  • Contribute to maintaining efficient and accurate operational processes within a startup environment

Requirements

  • Experience in healthcare claims, insurance operations, revenue cycle management, or related healthcare administrative environments
  • Strong English communication skills, particularly for written documentation and internal coordination
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and healthcare data confidentiality practices
  • Ability to work independently in a remote and fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to follow structured multi-step workflows accurately

Highly Regarded Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in legal process outsourcing (LPO) or medical-legal administrative workflows
  • Familiarity with arbitration, claims review, or healthcare compliance processes
  • Experience managing high-volume documentation and eligibility screening
  • Background supporting U.S.-based healthcare or insurance operations
  • Comfortable working within startup or rapidly evolving operational environments

Scope

  • Support offshore healthcare operations and case coordination workflows
  • Manage documentation extraction, eligibility tracking, and operational follow-ups
