Job Overview

Our client is looking for an E-commerce Operations Coordinator (Shopify) to serve as the primary operational support for a growing e-commerce store during its launch phase. In this role, you will collaborate directly with the business owner to manage inventory onboarding and store maintenance, helping free up the owner's time to focus on advertising, sourcing, and strategic growth.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the online store, ensuring product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and properly displayed.
• Manage bulk product uploads via CSV files into Shopify, maintaining data integrity across large inventory sets.
• Gather and prepare product images, descriptions, and pricing details for new product launches.
• Support backend product setup across Shopify and potentially TikTok Shop.
• Process customer inquiries, order tracking, invoices, and refunds to maintain a seamless shopping experience.
• Monitor website analytics and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improving the online store.
• Engage in light social media activities to support brand visibility across platforms.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience supporting e-commerce operations, preferably on Shopify.
• Strong proficiency in spreadsheet management and CSV file preparation for bulk product uploads.
• High level of attention to detail, especially when handling repetitive data entry tasks.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong written communication skills and organizational abilities.
