Job Overview

Our client is looking for a creative and trend-focused Instagram Video Editor to edit Instagram Reels (15–30 seconds) for a diverse client base across the hospitality, tourism, and live music industries. Working directly with the agency owner, you will receive briefs and raw footage to produce high-quality, competitive social media content. This role requires an individual who can maintain brand consistency across multiple accounts, execute professional color grading, and collaborate in real-time within the client's time zone.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM AEST (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form Instagram Reels (15–30 seconds) for clients across hospitality, tourism, and live music industries
• Apply professional color grading to raw footage captured on both iPhones and professional cameras
• Follow detailed creative briefs and reference videos to deliver edits that align with client expectations
• Maintain up-to-date editing styles that are competitive with current social media trends
• Ensure brand consistency and visual quality across all content produced for multiple clients
• Communicate progress and confirm receipt of briefs and raw footage in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio of short-form social media content
• Advanced color grading skills across varied footage sources and lighting conditions
• Strong understanding of current Instagram Reels trends and best practices
• High level of attention to detail to ensure edits meet brief specifications
• Excellent written communication skills and responsiveness during working hours
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client projects simultaneously

Scope:

• Part-time engagement (20 hours/week), Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM AEST
• Dedicated resource working within the client's time zone with real-time communication
• Potential to transition to full-time by end of year as the agency scales
• Work across a diverse client base spanning multiple industries
• Collaborate directly with the agency owner, receiving briefs and raw footage for each project
