Join a growing telehealth company providing 24/7 virtual healthcare services across the United States. This role focuses on supporting daily operations, assisting patients, and ensuring a smooth and professional remote healthcare experience. Schedule:
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Thursday – Sunday (32 hours per week) Client Timezone: Texas, USA (CST/CDT)
Responsibilities
- Provide receptionist and administrative support for an online virtual health service.
- Handle incoming calls from patients, addressing inquiries about the business and prescription status.
- Assist patients via chat and text messages, answering questions and providing information.
- Conduct follow-ups with patients and send reminders for reviews.
- Perform data entry tasks, including entering patient information into the CRM system.
- Possess a basic understanding of medical terminology to communicate with doctors effectively.
- Collaborate with doctors and other medical staff as needed.
- Work closely with the website backend and the Kareo (or Zebra) system to access patient information and prescriptions.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of patient data.
- Answer incoming calls and provide information about the business and prescription status.
- Respond to chat and text messages promptly and assist patients with their inquiries.
- Conduct follow-up calls or messages with patients and remind them to leave reviews.
- Enter patient information accurately into the CRM system.
- Maintain effective communication with doctors and medical staff.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of patient data.
- Assist with any additional tasks related to receptionist and administrative duties.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in using chat systems, phone systems, and text messaging platforms.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology to facilitate communication with doctors.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Kareo or Zebra) or the ability to quickly learn new software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a remote team.
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist, medical assistant, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Availability to work the designated schedule, including weekends.
