Job Overview

Our client is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Short-Form Video Editor to produce engaging content for Instagram Reels and TikTok. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, platform-ready videos that align with brand guidelines and creative direction for both the company and the founder’s personal brand.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 4 hours a day, flexible within Eastern business hours (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce short-form video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok aligned with brand guidelines and creative direction.
• Assemble raw footage and assets into polished, platform-ready content for both the company page and the founder's personal page.
• Maintain brand consistency across all social media video content for multiple studio locations.
• Support the expansion of the brand's presence onto TikTok by producing platform-specific content.
• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to execute on planned content calendars and campaigns.
• Adapt content formats and styles to suit different social media platforms and audience expectations.
• Execute content strategy for the company’s Instagram/TikTok accounts and the founder’s personal Instagram page.
• Participate in onboarding sessions focused on brand vision, social strategy, and content expectations.

Requirements

• Proven experience editing short-form video content for social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
• Strong understanding of social media trends, formats, and best practices for engagement.
• Ability to take creative direction and execute independently with minimal supervision.
• High level of attention to detail in visual storytelling and brand presentation.
• Professional written communication skills for asynchronous collaboration across time zones.
• Ability to manage multiple content streams and meet deadlines consistently.
