This is a "plug-and-play" role for a high-level AP/AR Bookkeeper who can operate with total autonomy and professional precision. The team does not have the bandwidth to teach the basics; they need someone who can take the lead and run with it.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM PST (25 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Primary Focus: Drive accuracy and efficiency in Accounts Payable operations using QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise.
• Cross-Training: Proactively cross-train in Accounts Receivable to provide full team coverage and redundancy.
• Financial Management: Manage and optimize data entry, perform regular account reconciliations (including customer deposits), and support month-end closing.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to streamlining financial operations and maintain clear communication via Slack.
• Precision: Execute all bookkeeping tasks with meticulous attention to detail and professional handling of confidential data.

Requirements

• Expertise: Extensive, proven experience with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is mandatory.
• Seniority: Strong background in both AP and AR management at a senior level.
• Autonomy: Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently without a long training phase.
• Communication: Excellence in written and verbal English.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient with modern business tools (Slack, etc.) and comfortable in a remote environment.
