Reporting Line
This role reports directly to the Operations Director, while also providing support to the Managing Director (MD) as required.
Schedule: 20 hours per week; Monday to Friday, flexible between 9am to 5pm Engadine ,NSW
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Finance

Manage daily bookkeeping for three entities (UK, NZ, AU) in Xero

Reconcile bank, loan, and intercompany accounts

Process supplier invoices accurately and on time

Complete month-end close, including journals, accruals, and adjustments
-
Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts and financial reports
-
Complete month-end requirements for BAS (AU), GST (NZ), and VAT (UK) for MD lodgement
-
Maintain strong financial controls and compliance
Inventory & Reporting

Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile stock in Xero

Support stock reporting, reconciliations, and stocktakes

Prepare performance reports covering:

Gross profit
-
Marketing ROI
-
Customer lifetime value
-
Cost per acquisition
-
Campaign profitability
-
Operational Support
-
Prepare and distribute financial and business reports
-
Support the MD and Operations Director with finance and operational tasks
Improvement & Project Work

Review and improve chart of accounts and finance processes
-
Analyse supplier, freight, and operational costs to identify savings
-
Support supplier negotiations, account setup, and contract reviews
-
Build financial models and business cases for cost and efficiency initiatives

Coordinate and reconcile periodic stocktakes
Requirements
-
CPA (or equivalent)
-
5+ years’ experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles
-
Strong Xero experience (multi-entity preferred)

Inventory and stock management experience

Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
