Sales Appointment Setter
Job Overview
Our client operates a direct mail marketing consultancy specializing in guaranteed physical advertising for small to mid-sized businesses. They focus on home services companies—including roofing, pest control, and similar industries—delivering high-quality promotional flyers at affordable, predictable pricing. Our client is seeking an Appointment Setter to warm up leads and book qualified appointments for the sales team. This role focuses on outbound calling and email follow-up to increase connection rates and move prospects through the pipeline efficiently.
Schedule
- Flexible during client business hours. North Carolina/Tampa Florida timezone. (20 hours per week) Note: Part-time with potential to move to full-time within 30 days.
Responsibilities
- Outbound Outreach: Conduct 100+ outbound calls per day to warm up leads and schedule appointments with business owners and decision-makers.
- Lead Management: Use Apollo.io to manage lead lists, track call outcomes, and update contact information in the CRM.
- Prospect Re-engagement: Follow up with missed calls via email and phone to re-engage prospects and improve overall connection rates.
- Sales Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales closer to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified appointments.
- Pipeline Efficiency: Focus strictly on appointment setting to move prospects through the sales funnel rather than closing sales.
Requirements
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in appointment setting, lead generation, or outbound sales.
- Technical Mastery: Strong proficiency with Apollo.io for lead sourcing and dialing.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with a clear and professional phone presence.
- Volume & Persistence: Ability to handle high-volume outbound calling with consistency and persistence.
- CRM Literacy: Experience working with CRM systems such as HubSpot.
Qualifications
- Experience in B2B sales or marketing services industries is preferred.
- Background working with home services or local business clients.
- Familiarity with email workflow automation and follow-up sequences.
