Overview
Transform raw footage into high-impact digital stories. We are looking for a creative video expert to drive channel growth through a mix of strategic long-form YouTube content and viral short-form clips, while owning the SEO and design process from start to finish.
Schedule:
- Part-time (20 hours per week) with potential to grow into a full-time position.
- Flexible working times as long as turnaround times are met - with some overlap in UK hours
Responsibilities
- Edit and produce short-form video content for social media platforms to drive audience engagement and channel growth
- Create one to two longer-form videos per week for YouTube, ensuring high production quality and brand consistency
- Design thumbnails and add captions to all video content to maximise accessibility and click-through rates
- Write SEO-optimised titles and descriptions to improve discoverability and organic reach
- Research industry trends and competitor content to inform and develop a proactive content plan
- Deliver completed content on a weekly schedule, ready for the team's review ahead of publishing
Requirements
- Proven experience in video editing for YouTube and social media platforms (APPLICATIONS WITH VIDEO RECORDING WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
- Understanding of SEO best practices for video content, including titles, descriptions, and tags
- Ability to research trends and translate insights into actionable content ideas
- Strong creative eye with high attention to detail in visual storytelling
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written communication skills for content descriptions and team handovers
Scope:
- Weekly content delivery cycle with completed assets ready for team review by end of each week
- Asynchronous communication with occasional calls for feedback and alignment
