WordPress Landing Page Developer

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Landing Page Developer who specializes in building conversion-focused landing pages in WordPress using Elementor Pro. You will work closely with their PPC team to translate campaign briefs into polished, fast-loading landing pages, fully tracked, properly tested, and ready to generate leads. This is a hands-on builder role. You should be comfortable owning a page from brief to launch with minimal supervision.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Building and launching landing pages in WordPress using Elementor Pro based on PPC campaign briefs
  • Configuring Elementor Forms for lead capture, including CRM integrations and email notifications
  • Installing and verifying tracking scripts including Google Ads conversion tags, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel, and call tracking such as CallRail
  • Performing thorough pre-launch QA including form submissions, tracking verification, mobile responsiveness, and page speed
  • Troubleshooting caching conflicts, form submission issues, and script misfires
  • Collaborating with the PPC team on A/B testing variations and CRO recommendations
  • Maintaining an organized page library and documenting build processes as needed
  • Staying adaptable as new landing page platforms are evaluated and adopted such as GoHighLevel

Requirements

  • Proven experience building landing pages in WordPress, not just editing themes but building from scratch or near scratch, with high proficiency in Elementor Pro including widgets, templates, and global settings
  • Hands-on experience with Elementor Forms including field configuration, conditional logic, integrations, and submission troubleshooting
  • Solid understanding of tracking scripts including placement, validation, and debugging when they fire incorrectly, with familiarity in Google Tag Manager, Google Ads conversion tracking, and Facebook Pixel setup
  • Experience working with WordPress caching plugins such as WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, and W3 Total Cache, including when and how to purge cache during development
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve common issues such as broken forms, scripts not firing, mobile layout breaks, and slow load times
  • Prior experience working alongside a PPC or paid media team
  • Strong QA instincts with the ability to catch problems before the client does

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with GoHighLevel or other dedicated landing page builders
  • Experience with CRO principles including layout, CTAs, trust signals, and form friction
  • Basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for customizations beyond what Elementor handles natively
  • Comfort picking up new platforms quickly when required

What Success Looks Like

  • Pages launch on time, are fully tracked, and have zero form submission issues.
  • The PPC team does not need to follow up for updates, as communication is proactive.
  • Problems are flagged early rather than discovered after launch.
  • Quality remains consistent across all builds, whether it is page 1 or page 50.

Independent Contractor Perks

  • Permanent work from home
  • Immediate hiring
  • Health Insurance Coverage for eligible locations

Note

  • Please click the "Apply" button to complete your application, including the assessment questions, technical check, and voice recording. Your hourly pay rate will be established based on your performance in the application process; submissions with all requirements fulfilled will receive priority review.
