Job Overview
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive Property Management Compliance Administrator to support our growing New Zealand property management business. This role is primarily focused on the administrative preparation and lodgement of tenancy tribunal cases, ensuring all documentation, evidence, and case details are accurate and submitted correctly.
The ideal candidate is someone who learns quickly, communicates confidently in English, and thrives in a fast-paced administrative environment. Previous experience in New Zealand property management, tenancy tribunal administration, or MRI Palace software is highly desirable but not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate with a strong attitude and willingness to learn.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM NZST with 30-minute unpaid lunch break (7.5 hours per day/37.5 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and lodge tenancy tribunal applications accurately and on time
- Review tenant arrears, unpaid rent, water bills, and property damage reports
- Ensure all supporting documents and case information are complete and error-free
- Coordinate with the internal property management team regarding tribunal-related matters
- Maintain organized records of tenancy cases, evidence, and communications
- Assist with general administrative support related to property management operations
- Update and manage information within MRI Palace or related property management systems
- Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with New Zealand tenancy processes and requirements
- Escalate missing information or inconsistencies when necessary
- Support the business in streamlining administrative processes and improving operational efficiency
Qualifications & Experience
Preferred
- Experience working in a property management company, ideally within New Zealand property management
- Exposure to tenancy tribunal administration or tenancy-related case preparation
- Familiarity with MRI Palace or similar property management software
- Experience handling administrative or compliance-related tasks
Required
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
