WordPress Developer (with Go High Level)

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a highly skilled WordPress Developer (with Go High Level) to support their agency in building and launching home service businesses. This person will be responsible for creating custom websites, setting up GoHighLevel CRM systems, building personalized dashboards, integrating AI tools, and supporting client business operations through automation. 

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM EST/PST (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

WordPress Website Development

  • Build and customize WordPress websites for home service businesses
  • Create high-converting landing pages, service pages, and booking flows
  • Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, fast, and optimized for conversions
  • Manage themes, plugins, forms, tracking, and integrations
  • Connect websites with CRM, calendars, forms, analytics, and automation tools

GoHighLevel CRM Setup & Customization

  • Build and manage customized GoHighLevel accounts for clients
  • Set up pipelines, dashboards, workflows, calendars, forms, and automations
  • Create SMS and email follow-up sequences
  • Customize each CRM based on the client’s business model and service area
  • Ensure lead flow, booking, tracking, and reporting are working properly

AI Tool Integrations

  • Integrate AI tools into WordPress and GoHighLevel systems
  • Support AI-powered business operations, including:
    • AI calling
    • AI messaging
    • AI lead qualification
    • AI appointment reminders
    • AI customer support workflows
  • Connect AI tools to GHL pipelines, calendars, forms, and dashboards
  • Monitor and troubleshoot AI automations to ensure a strong client and customer experience

Integrations & Automation

  • Connect WordPress, GoHighLevel, Zapier, APIs, webhooks, and third-party tools
  • Set up tracking pixels, Google Analytics, conversion tracking, and reporting tools
  • Build automations for lead capture, follow-up, booking, reporting, and client communication
  • Troubleshoot integration issues quickly and accurately

Client Communication

  • Communicate clearly with clients through email, Slack, calls, and project updates
  • Gather client requirements and translate them into technical execution
  • Explain systems, websites, CRM workflows, and automations in simple language
  • Provide proactive updates and flag issues before they become problems
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and client-friendly communication style

Requirements

  • 4+ years expert-level experience with WordPress
  • 2+ years strong experience with GoHighLevel CRM
  • Experience building CRM dashboards, workflows, pipelines, and automations
  • Experience integrating websites, CRMs, calendars, forms, and third-party tools
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple client projects at once

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI calling, AI messaging, or AI automation tools
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or similar
  • Experience working with home service businesses
  • Experience with local lead generation or service-based funnels
  • Basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or API knowledge
  • Familiarity with analytics, attribution, and reporting tools
