Job Overview

Our client is looking for a Licensed Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Agent to join their team remotely. In this role, you'll be helping boat and yacht owners get the right coverage, supporting policy inquiries, and ensuring a smooth, stress-free experience for every customer. Experience in Recreational Marine or Boat Insurance is a major plus, but what matters most is your P&C license and your passion for delivering great service.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 6: 00 PM New York, USA Time with 1 hour unpaid break (8 hours per day / 40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in selecting the right boat and yacht insurance coverage for their needs
  • Handle inbound inquiries via phone, email, and chat with professionalism and care
  • Process new policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and on time
  • Educate clients on coverage options including liability, collision, towing, and fishing equipment
  • Support clients through the claims process in a timely and empathetic manner
  • Collaborate with the internal team to continuously improve the customer experience
  • Stay current on US P&C insurance regulations, marine coverage trends, and the client's product updates

Requirements

  • Active US Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license (required)
  • Proven experience in insurance sales, customer service, or policy management
  • Strong English communication skills — both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and reliably in a fully remote setup
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with online platforms, CRMs, and insurance management tools
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Recreational Marine, Boat, or Yacht Insurance
  • Familiarity with insurance agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS360)
  • Multi-state US licensing
  • A genuine passion for the marine or boating lifestyle
