Booking Manager & Social Media Outreach Specialist
About the Role We are looking for a proactive, results-driven Booking Manager & Social Media Outreach Specialist to identify, pursue, and secure keynote speaking opportunities for a sought-after keynote speaker and Fortune 500 brand strategist. This role is central to expanding her visibility across corporate, conference, and faith-based markets — and supports her brand at every stage of the booking journey, from first contact to confirmed engagement.
Core Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Market Research Identify and maintain a pipeline of qualified speaking opportunities aligned with the client's focus areas: leadership, personal branding, emotional intelligence, wellbeing, and faith-based audiences.
- Research conferences, corporate events, associations, and leadership retreats across domestic and international markets
- Build and update a targeted prospect list weekly using LinkedIn, Google, AI tools, and industry platforms
- Prioritize high-budget verticals: healthcare systems, energy companies, construction firms, HR associations, and women's leadership events
- Target key markets including Houston, Dallas, Austin, Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles, and international cities in South Africa, UAE, Spain, Morocco, and Latin America
2. Outreach & Speaker Submissions Execute consistent, professional, and personalized outreach to event organizers and corporate decision-makers.
- Submit applications for "Call for Speakers" (CFPs) across platforms such as 10times, Conference Alerts, SpeakerHub, and eSpeakers
- Send direct outreach emails to CHROs, Heads of L&D, and event directors — customized per opportunity
- Engage on LinkedIn: connect with decision-makers and initiate conversations
- Maintain consistent brand voice: Tanika helps leaders elevate emotional intelligence, activate their personal brand, and lead effectively in an AI-driven world
3. Relationship Management & Follow-Up Nurture relationships and move opportunities forward — most bookings happen on follow-up, not first contact.
- Track all outreach, responses, and conversations in a centralized system
- Follow up at day 5–7 after first contact, and again at day 14
- Maintain organized records of conversation history and opportunity status
- Stay warm with prospects for future booking cycles
4. Opportunity Coordination & Booking Support Support the conversion of qualified leads into confirmed speaking engagements.
- Coordinate introductory calls and offer 2–3 scheduling options when interest is confirmed
- Distribute speaker materials: reel, keynote topics, bio, and website
- Customize pitches to match each opportunity's audience and theme
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Tanika and prospective clients
5. Social Media & Light Video Editing Support social media presence with content coordination and moderate video editing.
- Edit short-form video content using CapCut (reels, clips, speaker highlights)
- Add captions, transitions, text overlays, and branded elements
- Assist with scheduling or repurposing content tied to outreach campaigns
- Maintain consistency with TanikaVitalSPEAKS' visual brand and tone
6. Reporting & Pipeline Management Provide regular updates on outreach performance and pipeline activity.
- Maintain a live tracker in BaseCamp or Google Sheets (organization, event, location, date, contact, status, notes)
- Deliver a weekly Friday report: leads added, emails sent, responses, follow-ups, calls booked
- Identify trends and recommend strategy adjustments
