Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Retail Inventory & Reporting Coordinator to support daily operational tracking and reporting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured, data-driven work and can maintain high accuracy across repetitive tasks. You will play a key role in consolidating reports, monitoring inventory levels, and identifying discrepancies that impact business performance.

Client Overview

Our client is an Australian-based business operating in a fast-paced retail and food environment, focused on maintaining operational efficiency, accurate reporting, and effective inventory management. Their team values precision, accountability, and proactive support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across multiple product lines.

Schedule

• Tuesday - Saturday, 09:00 AM - 01:00 PM AEST (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Compile and submit daily head office reports by consolidating data from multiple sources into a single, organized file.
• Track and record daily food wastage across perishable product categories.
• Maintain and update inventory levels based on daily sales and incoming stock.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency across all data entry and reporting workflows.
• Identify and flag inventory discrepancies or unusual wastage trends.
• Support continuous improvement of reporting and tracking processes.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, especially spreadsheets.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle repetitive tasks accurately.
• Comfortable learning and using legacy or older POS systems.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bookkeeping experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience in inventory management, retail, or food-related operations (Preferred).
• Familiarity with stock tracking systems or POS platforms (Preferred).
• Experience working with remote teams (Preferred).
