Travel & Logistics Sales Specialist (Hubspot)

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a self-driven, empathetic, and detail-oriented specialist to be the first point of contact for families relocating their pets. This is not a cold-calling role; you will handle warm leads from clients who have already expressed interest. Your mission is to guide them through complex logistics—including airline requirements, country regulations, and breed restrictions—build their confidence, and qualify their readiness to move forward. 

Client Overview

Our client is a specialized pet transportation company based in the United States. They help families safely relocate their pets domestically and internationally via ground transport, in-cabin escorts, and cargo shipments. They are a close-knit team dedicated to ensuring pets arrive safely and providing families with peace of mind during major life transitions.

Schedule

  • Training Period (First 30 Days): Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST
  • Permanent Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM OR 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM CST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Qualification

  • Make outbound warm calls to prospects who have submitted inquiry forms
  • Answer incoming calls from prospective clients seeking guidance on pet transportation
  • Qualify leads using proven scripts and frameworks—assessing urgency, timeline, budget, and authority
  • Identify and prioritize high-intent leads for immediate hand-off to the logistics team
  • Review and walk clients through auto-generated estimates and guide them toward signing travel agreements

Client Education & Industry Knowledge

  • Gather detailed pet information: breed, size, vaccination records (especially rabies), and microchip details
  • Educate clients on destination-specific regulations, airline options, crate requirements, and breed restrictions
  • Confidently address concerns around pet safety, transit facilities, and logistics to build trust
  • Identify complex cases and escalate them to senior team members when necessary

CRM & Operations

  • Log all interactions, qualification status, and client details accurately in HubSpot CRM
  • Collaborate with sales and logistics teams via video calls and chat platforms
  • Participate in role-play training scenarios and apply feedback consistently to refine the sales approach

Requirements

  • Proven experience in phone-based sales or customer service with a track record of building rapport quickly
  • Proficient in HubSpot CRM (hands-on experience is required)
  • Technically proficient with video conferencing and remote collaboration tools
  • Background in travel, logistics, shipping, or animal care is a strong advantage
  • Comfortable managing multiple variables in a conversation (airline rules, pet specs, country requirements)
  • Strong English communication skills (written and spoken) for primary client interaction
  • Demonstrated ability to learn independently; must be able to retain complex information with minimal supervision
  • Empathetic and composed under pressure to support anxious clients
