Job Overview
Our client is looking for a creative, self-driven Social Media & Content Specialist to own the content presence of a growing skincare brand across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X. This is not a role for someone who needs constant direction — our client needs someone who sees a product and immediately visualizes multiple ways to film, edit, and position it. You bring the ideas, the eye, and the execution. If you can make a compelling video quickly on CapCut and know instinctively what stops a scroll, this is the role for you.

Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM CST (20 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
Content Creation & Publishing
- Create and publish 3 posts per week across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X (1 video + 2 static posts minimum)
- Produce content that is informative, engaging, aesthetically consistent, and drives both community and sales
- Maintain the brand's light, airy visual aesthetic — every post should feel intentional and on-brand
- Use a feed planning tool to preview and maintain the visual flow of the Instagram grid before posting
- Schedule posts at optimal times (9:00 AM CST)
Content Planning & Calendar Management
- Build and maintain a monthly content calendar at least 30 days in advance
- Plan a balanced mix of themes: ingredient highlights, product texture, brand story, community-driven content, and sales-focused posts
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, CapCut, Canva, etc.) proactively to generate ideas and streamline creation
Brand Aesthetics & Visual Quality
- Design graphics and create original visual content that aligns with the brand's look and feel
- Draw from the existing content backlog and repurpose assets creatively
- Collaborate with UGC creators and integrate their content seamlessly into the brand strategy
Community Engagement
- Respond to comments, engage with followers, and build an active, loyal community
- Post interactive stories regularly to boost engagement and connection
- Grow the follower base while driving traffic and sales to the website
Advertising (Plus)
- Assist with social media ad campaigns and Meta Business Suite management when needed
Requirements
- Proven experience managing social media content for a skincare, beauty, or lifestyle brand (Portfolio required)
- Experience with community management and social media best practices
- Strong proficiency in CapCut, Canva, or similar tools to produce polished content independently
- Deep understanding of Instagram aesthetics, feed planning, and scroll-stopping content
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and social media advertising is a strong plus
- YouTube Shorts experience is a plus
- Ability to follow a content calendar structure without needing daily oversight
- A genuine creative eye with the ability to see content opportunities naturally
