Overview

We are seeking a Senior VICIdial Engineer to take full ownership of our dialing infrastructure, working directly within the code, servers, and telephony stack. This is a deep technical, real-time operations role that requires high proficiency in PHP, Perl, and Linux to troubleshoot and optimize systems during active business hours.

Schedule:

• Must be available Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Phoenix, AZ – MST), with an hour unpaid break
• Must be responsive for real-time troubleshooting and system support
• This is a live operations role, not project-based or after-hours work

Responsibilities

• Execute and optimize VICIdial operations across multiple campaigns, focusing on maximizing KPIs such as ASR, ALOC, connection, and drop rates
• Take direct ownership of the VICIdial codebase to develop, modify, and maintain custom scripts and automated workflows
• Utilize expert-level PHP and Perl programming skills to manage critical backend processes and system logic
• Manage Linux-based dialer servers, including debugging logs, managing cron jobs, and ensuring maximum system uptime
• Configure and troubleshoot Asterisk, SIP routing, and trunking to resolve audio, call flow, and carrier-related inefficiencies
• Oversee the uploading and scrubbing of lead lists, including DNC, litigator, and carrier validation to ensure data compliance and quality
• Diagnose and resolve technical bottlenecks such as PDROP, routing delays, and CPS issues in a high-pressure, real-time environment
• Manage and maintain stable communications between the dialer and third-party platforms, including APIs, CRMs, and SIP providers like Twilio or Vitelity
• Analyze system reports to identify trends and implement strategic improvements for overall dialing efficiency

Requirements

• Expert PHP development experience
• Strong Perl experience (VICIdial backend)
• Advanced Linux system administration
• 5+ years deep VICIdial experience (code + infrastructure level)
• Strong Asterisk, SIP, and VoIP troubleshooting
• Must be available in real-time during specified business hours for troubleshooting and support
