Job Overview:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to bridge the gap between clinical expertise and patient-friendly engagement. In this role, you will translate complex medical information into clear, compelling content and design visually stunning assets using Canva. Your work will play a vital role in strengthening our digital presence while ensuring all communications remain professional, compliant, and aligned with healthcare standards.

Schedule:

  • Sydney / AEST Time

Responsibilities:

  • Create, design, schedule, and publish content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Develop on-brand visuals using Canva, including social posts, infographics, and basic marketing assets
  • Translate clinical and neurological topics into engaging, easy-to-understand content
  • Plan and manage a monthly content calendar aligned with key themes and initiatives
  • Monitor content performance and provide basic reporting and insights
  • Ensure all content complies with AHPRA advertising guidelines
  • Maintain consistent, professional, and patient-focused branding across all platforms

Requirement:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in social media management or digital content creation
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics
  • Proficiency in Canva (essential) for creating high-quality, on-brand social media content
  • Good eye for design, layout, and visual storytelling
  • High attention to detail, particularly in regulated industries
  • Self-directed, reliable, and comfortable working independently

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest or background in healthcare, medical, or science communication
  • Understanding of AHPRA or healthcare advertising compliance
  • Experience managing professional or clinic-based social media accounts
