Job Overview

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive German-English  Shopify E-commerce Assistant to support daily marketing, e-commerce, and administrative operations. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, bilingual, and comfortable working across social media, Shopify, and customer communications. You will play a key role in maintaining brand consistency, supporting order fulfillment processes, and assisting with marketing initiatives across international markets.

Client Overview

The client operates an outdoor lifestyle e-commerce brand focused on delivering high-quality products to customers in both Germany and Australia. With a growing online presence, the business is expanding its digital marketing and operational support to better serve both markets.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, (Flexible hours) Australian Eastern Time (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Create and manage Instagram content to maintain brand consistency across German and Australian audiences
• Prepare and process shipping labels within Shopify to support order fulfillment
• Research and compile UGC (User-Generated Content) creator applications, including skills, pricing, and offerings
• Organize and maintain structured data (e.g., spreadsheets/tables) for efficient decision-making
• Manage email inboxes and respond to customer and business inquiries in both German and English
• Provide general administrative support to streamline daily operations
• Assist with customer-facing content and marketing tasks when needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure continuity across marketing and operational workflows

Requirements

• Fluent in German and English (written and verbal)
• Experience using Shopify, particularly order management and shipping label creation
• Familiarity with Instagram content creation and scheduling
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Close attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Comfortable working across different time zones with a flexible schedule
• Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks
