Job Overview
Our client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to support Australian-based mining and industrial projects. Working under the direction of Australia-based engineers, you will design and draft mechanical equipment and plants, including general arrangements, while adhering to Australian standards (AS/NZS). You will ensure safety, efficiency, and scalability for heavy industrial applications. This is a true engineering design role involving calculations, 3D modeling, and collaboration on solutions from concept to detailed design.
Client Overview
Our client is a newly established, boutique engineering consultancy based in Perth, Western Australia, specializing exclusively in the mining resource sector. Founded by a leadership team with over 20 years of experience each in engineering consultancy, they are already serving clients across gold, lithium, and iron ore projects. As a lean startup, they are building their remote engineering team to support a growing pipeline of debottlenecking projects, expansion studies, and detailed design work. You will work directly under experienced Australian engineers.
