Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to support the Project Manager with estimating coordination, contractor communication, and project documentation. This role is ideal for someone with experience in construction administration who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can independently manage multiple moving parts. You will play a key role in keeping projects organized, ensuring quotes are tracked, and maintaining clear communication across all stakeholders.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM AEST, with 30 minute paid break (40 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Split scope of works and perform quantity takeoffs to support the estimating process
- Follow up with contractors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and manage outstanding quotes
- Organize and maintain digital project folders and documentation for easy access and compliance
- Assist with contract administration tasks, including preparing and tracking project documents
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Project Manager
- Coordinate communications between internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders
- Manage day-to-day office tasks such as file management, documentation, and tracking updates
- Act as the primary administrative support for the Project Manager
- Handle contractor follow-ups, documentation, and coordination tasks
- Work within the company’s systems and tools using provided access
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction administration or a related field
- Strong understanding of estimating processes, including takeoffs and scope breakdowns
- Experience supporting Project Managers with coordination and contract administration
- Comfortable working remotely and using cloud-based tools and systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
