Job Overview

We are seeking a Customer Support Agent to manage chat-based customer inquiries via WhatsApp Business for an e-commerce business serving customers in Israel. The role focuses on providing timely, professional, and empathetic support, particularly around order status, delivery concerns, and general inquiries.

Schedule: Flexible Sunday-Thursday. 12AM-15PM, Israel time zone


Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints via WhatsApp Business in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide accurate order status updates and manage customer expectations regarding shipping timelines
  • Handle escalations and follow-up messages with empathy and professionalism
  • Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to translate messages between English and Hebrew as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and common issues
  • Ensure a positive customer experience by resolving concerns efficiently
  • Support multiple related e-commerce stores as required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer support or customer service, preferably in e-commerce
  • Strong written communication skills with a professional and empathetic tone
  • Comfortable using chat platforms and AI tools for communication and translation
  • Ability to manage multiple conversations simultaneously with high attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging customer situations
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
